The health centre is very near the Grand Union Canal which goes all the way from London to Birmingham, passing through rolling countryside, industrial towns and peaceful villages. It is Britain’s longest canal, and helps thousands of people to live healthier, happier lives. In 2015 two local GP surgeries joined together and then in 2018 we merged with a third practice, so we are truly a ‘Grand Union’.

We are a health centre which provides a wide range of high quality services to meet for the needs of the local community, including families with young children, working people, people with long term health conditions, as well as those who are vulnerable and isolated. We firmly believe in the long established values of developing positive and long lasting relationships with our patients. This continuity of care ensures that we can best meet patients’ short and long term health and social needs.

We believe that care and support is not just about medical input, and have therefore developed a range of other support services on site that we feel better enable us to meet local need; helping people feel less isolated, and enjoy happier and healthier lifestyles.

Our philosophy is to provide services and access to all local people. We deliver our services from welcoming and purpose-built premises and meet all of the latest requirements for access and safety. We look forward to meeting you here.
