We were formerly known as Harrow Road Health Centre and we changed our name in 2015 to Grand Union health Centre.

Harrow Road is an ancient route in North West London that runs from paddington (where we are) towards Harrow. It is also a ward in the city of Westminster.

We also cover a catchment area which encompasses Bayswater, Ladbroke Grove, Paddington, Warwick Avenue, Maida Hill, Maida Vale, Bayswater, Queens Park and Notting Hill. (W2, W9, W10, W11).

Where on Harrow Road is Grand Union Health Centre located?
Grand Union Health Centre is located by the Shell petrol station and under the Westway.
Are you the only GP Practice on Harrow Road?
We are not the only GP Practice on Harrow Road - there are a number of others.
Why are you not called Harrow Road Health Centre anymore?
We are not called Harrow Road as we changed our name in October 2015 to recognise the Canal and our mergers with other practices.
Who chose the new name?
The new name was chosen by our Staff and Patient Participation Groups together. They had 4 options and voted for Grand Union overwhelmingly.
Where on the Harrow Road are you?
We are on the Harrow Road near Royal Oak Tube Station, opposite Westbourne Green.
When are you open?
We are open Monday-Friday 8am to 6.30 pm – but we do have appointments available over the weekend. You can book them in advance, or during the weekend via the NHS app. These appointments are located at St Charles Hospital in Ladbroke Grove.
Can you make referrals?
Yes our doctors, nurses and pharmacists can make both NHS referrals, when it fits the eligibility criteria, or Private referrals.
Can you take Blood Samples?
Yes we can take blood tests and have a wonderful team of four health care assistants who take blood daily.
Do you prescribe Medicines and where can you send them to?
Our doctors, and some of our prescribing pharmacists, can prescribe medicines. We can then send the medication to your NHS pharmacy of choice. Please let us know which is your chosen pharmacy
What type of appointments Do you provide?
We do appointments both face to face and on the phone. We do not consult by email.
How do I make an appointment?
The easiest way to make a doctors appointment is via the NHS app. If you cant find the appointment you want via the app, you can always call the practice on 02072861231
How long does it take for your calls to be answered?
We answer on average each call in less than 5 minutes. Sometimes it can be much less.
