Meet the team

Grand Union Health Centre was formed in 2015 with a merger with the New Elgin Practice. The New Elgin was located in Chippenham Road  in Maida Vale. We continue to have a large population of patients from Maida Vale.

We are an NHS GP surgery which is currently located  on the borders of Maida Vale  in London.  Our practice started off located on Hamilton Terrace in St Johns Wood and has moved three times, once to Elgin Avenue, then to Chippenham Road and now to Harrow Road.

At the Grand Union you will find a varied team who are all aiming to provide safe and effective healthcare to all our patients. We work closely with all the community services in Maida Vale including the health visitors and  district nurses.

GP in Maida Vale

At the Grand Union we have a large team of doctors, nurses, health care assistants and pharmacists. They all aim to help our patients get what they need, safely and with a high quality of care in a timely manner.

When each patient calls the practice the receptionsist will briefly ask what you require in order for them to signpost each person in the correct direction. This enables us to ensure you speak to the person that can help you most efffectively, to ensure that your appointment is of the correct length based on the number of issues each patient has.

Our GP surgery in Maida Vale covers a  catchment area including  Paddington, Maida Hill, Bayswater, Queens Parkand Notting Hill. (W2, W9, W10, W11). It is easily accessible to all of West London being a short walk from both Queensway, Royal Oak, Paddington and its local bus and tube routes.
