Meet the team

Grand Union Health Centre is a GP Practice Located close to Paddington Station. We provide health care for patients who live in and around Paddington.  We recently merged in 2018 with a practice, Bayswater Medical Centre, which was located on Craven Road just metres away from Paddington Station.

All patients who live in Paddington will have a short walk to our practice. Here you will find a very dedicated team of professionals all aiming to deliver the finest quality of care for all our patients. We look after patients throughout their lives and we hope to provide a holisitic and responsive service.

Our receptionists help all our patients make their appointments and sign post them to the correct person so they can get what they need from us. For example some patients need forms filled in, and it is best to bring them to the desk, so the doctors can fill them in outside of their patient facing time. Other times patients need their prescriptions issued, and this is best done by our practice pharmacists rather than by the doctors. 

Our GP surgery is located in and around Paddington but we also cover a  catchment area  which encompases Paddington, Warwick Avenue Maida Hill,Maida Vale Bayswater, Queens Park and Notting Hill. (W2, W9, W10, W11).

The practice is located in an easily accessible location to all of West London being a short walk from both Queensway, Royal Oak, Westbourne Grove Paddington and its local bus and tube routes.

The practice is about 600 metres from Paddington Station.

2. Can I use pharmacies in Paddington station?

Yes - we send via Electronic Prescription medicines to all the pharmacies in Paddington Station

3. Will any patient need to go to Paddington for treatment?

Our local hospital, as in one of our closest hospitals, is in Paddington and called St Marys. All our XRays take place either at St Marys or St Charles so we do sometimes send patients to Paddington.

4. Do you have links with the hospital in Paddington?

We have very close links with the consultants at St Marys and we have a monthly Paediatric Clinic from them in the practice at the Grand Union Site.

5. Can you walk from Paddington to the practice?

Yes it is in walking distance and lots of our patients walk, other take the bus or tube and we have excellent links with public transport.
