Blog 16: NHS Health Check Research

We are very fortunate to have Dr Holly Young at Grand Union Health Centre, who is an Academic GP Trainee at Imperial.

She is doing a specific project trying to work out how we can encourage patients to have their NHS Health Checks.

This research is Holly together with Dr Patrik Bächtiger at the Imperial Health Impact Lab.

They have been doing a number of things;

Sending out surveys to our patients to ask for their feedback. Patients have been offered £30 as a thank you for participating.

Doing Interviews with patients to see what would encourage them to have Health Checks.

We thank all our patients who have participated and Dr Young who has put in many many hours calling patients.
