The flu vaccine helps protect against flu, which can be a serious or life-threatening illness. It’s offered on the NHS every year in autumn or early winter to people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu.
Flu vaccinations are available on the NHS to all those at a high risk from the complications of flu.
The flu jab is safe and effective. It’s free if you’re over 65, pregnant, work in health or social care, or have certain health conditions.
At Grand Union we are offering Flu Vaccines from 1st October 2025. We will be inviting everyone eligible in for their flu vaccine asap.
